Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either an AHP3 or AHP2, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

 

The Role

As an accomplished and highly skilled clinician, the Regional Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist (AHP3) will deliver top-tier services and provide inspiring clinical and professional leadership to allied health professionals across the FUNLHN region and remote areas of South Australia. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive improvements in service quality, safety, and community-focused distribution, collaborating with allied health staff, managers, and key stakeholders to enhance models of care and workforce development initiatives.

The Occupational Therapist (AHP2) leverages extensive clinical experience and a blend of generalist and specialist knowledge to deliver a comprehensive and integrated range of services tailored to the needs of the local community. Working with increased autonomy, you’ll plan, implement, and evaluate these services, and may also provide clinical supervision to less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students. As an integral member of a multi-professional team, collaborating with health professionals and service providers from various sectors, you’ll apply a range of approaches, including preventative care, early intervention, and therapeutic treatment, to ensure optimal outcomes for the community.

Must hold a recognised qualification within Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
