  • Part-time with various hours and temporary positions up to 12 months     

About the Role 

Join our dedicated team at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care within CALHN rehabilitation services. As a Clinical Nurse, you will utilise your expertise to provide exceptional nursing and midwifery services across various health service settings. Your journey will see you evolve from a competent practitioner to a proficient leader, supported by ongoing professional development and a collaborative team environment. In this role, you will accept accountability for your practice standards and the activities delegated to others, guiding and mentoring less experienced staff along the way. You'll provide invaluable support, consultation, and supervision to both staff and students, ensuring a nurturing environment for learning and growth. Additionally, you will assist the Afterhours Nurse Manager team and After-hours Medical Officers, contributing to the smooth operation of our services. About You 

We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our team! To thrive in this role, you should meet the following key requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience with demonstrated competence in nursing practice.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in guiding and mentoring student nurses and less experienced staff, with a current Advanced Life Support Certificate.
