The Role

Join our dynamic team as a Services Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment in our health unit! You'll be at the heart of our operations, delivering delicious meals to clients and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving food, handling deliveries, and keeping our spaces spotless. You'll also have the opportunity to assist with laundry duties, adding variety to your day.

You'll work closely with our Food Supervisor and Housekeeping Team Leader, gaining valuable experience while contributing to the well-being of our community. Elevate your career and make a difference with us!

This is a part time vacancy, working 27 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

The Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service is a large regional hospital that provides a wide range of services including emergency, general and surgical, maternity, outpatient, and outreach services. The hospital has 58 beds including flex and monitored beds.  The Port Augusta Hospital also has chemotherapy services and has a Renal Dialysis Unit and a Paediatric Department, both of which are the largest outside of Adelaide.
