About the Role

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you'll help lead and support our nursing team, ensuring high standards of care and operational excellence. You'll make an impact by:

  • Guiding and mentoring less experienced nursing staff

  • Assisting with staff management, rostering, and performance processes

  • Collaborating on practice changes to enhance patient care

  • Managing resources, budgets, and supplies for your unit

  • Promoting continuity of care with a focus on patient outcomes

About You

We’re seeking a motivated Nurse/Midwife ready to bring their clinical expertise and passion for education to the next level. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with others and has the skills to drive positive change.

  • Registered Nurse with current practising certificate

  • Experience supervising nurses and student nurses in a clinical setting

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of healthcare standards, legislation, and quality improvement
