Process Engineer

The Opportunity

The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting engineered treatment plants operating at our facilities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing improved monitoring and optimisation processes across multiple plants
  • Assisting to design, commission, operate and maintain process plant & equipment that is fit for purpose, aligns with strategic drivers, meets licensing requirements and ensures operational and functional risks are effectively managed
  • Developing specific engineering solutions for waste treatment systems & processes, including new items of plant and modifications/upgrades to existing items of plant
  • Advising on major maintenance activities requiring process engineering input
  • Cultivating a strong safety culture through employee engagement and continuous improvement, including owning process safety reporting & investigations for the plants

 About You

You will have experience implementing continuous improvement processes within a process plant.

  • Proven experience in either process engineering, plant design, automation and commissioning of process plants and equipment
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or process industry and/or waste treatment processes & systems
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across various internal levels and external parties
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret , professional  journals, technical procedures and government regulations
  • High level conceptual, analytical and practical skills with proven capacity to implement engineering solutions
  • Experience in the developing concepts for improvement or risk reduction projects
