The Opportunity
This is a newly created role at our new Materials Recovery Facility at Rooty Hill. In this key role, your focus will be on delivering comprehensive training programs, managing compliance to site safety processes, and ensuring the quality of our waste management processes through rigorous audits. You’ll work closely with our operational teams to ensure that all safety and environmental standards are met, directly impacting our commitment to sustainability and safety.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Design, implement, and oversee training programs for all staff, ensuring safety protocols and operational procedures are well understood and followed.
- Manage site compliance to our health, safety, and environmental (HSE) system, ensuring alignment with all relevant legislation and Cleanaway standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits of the waste processing operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and updating training materials, safety procedures, and audit processes.
About You
- Strong background in developing and delivering training programs.
- Excellent understanding of safety systems and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct detailed quality audits and implement improvements.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
