Land Transport Business Partner

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to step into the pivotal role of Land Transport Business Partner. Reporting to the Land Transport Program Manager, you will lead key projects to advance Cleanaway's Land Transport program. Your primary focus will be on enhancing risk management capabilities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company standards, and promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide specialist Land Transport support and advice to the business
  • Lead the completion of agreed Land Transport action items
  • Manage consultants related to Chain of Responsibility and broader Land Transport matter
  • Lead the implementation of health and safety & land transport standards, guidance and tools into the business
  • Develop systems and tools as required utilising internal and external support

About You

If you have a passion for mentoring key stakeholders across the business and support their development in all areas of Land Transport then we want to hear from you!

  • Minimum 5 years practical health and safety or fleet related projects
  • Experience in working with and achieving outcomes with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities 
  • Experience in progressing projects in complex organisational contexts
  • Degree or Post Graduate Qualifications (preferred)
  • Proven experience in blue collar / high risk industry environments
  • Understanding of business risk management, legislation, and industry good practice
