The Opportunity
You will be joining our experienced and supportive Liquid and Technical Services (LTS) team as an Account Manager, reporting to Regional Sales Manager. Cleanaway’s LTS business supports customers in a variety of industries to deliver environmentally sustainable solutions for liquid and hazardous chemical wastes. Our business in Victoria boasts a network of six waste management sites that support a majority market share. Primarily covering Metropolitan Melbourne, you will:
- Focusing on growing our grease trap and used cooking oil business in Metro Melbourne
- Continue to strengthen partnerships with our existing customers and identify further service improvement and growth opportunities
- Help us grow in existing and new markets by finding opportunities, building trusting customer relationships, and developing suitable technical solutions (in collaboration with operations).
- Provide feedback to allow us to continually improve our service delivery across all areas (eg: technical, service, cost)
- Leverage relationships and knowledge in our Cleanaway network across business units and geography
- Develop and execute targeted call cycles and account strategies aligning to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries and deliver an exceptional service
About You
Along with your ability to understand and uncover customer needs transforming these into improved service offerings, you will bring:
- Knowledge and experience of the industrial waste market
- Account management experience within a business-to-business environment
- Exceptional relationship management and influencing capability
- An ability to understand customer requirements and create attractive service solutions
- An independent drive to hunt for new business/ revenue opportunities
- Commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing and margin and its impact on profitability
