Campus Only - Associate Director, Alabama Materials Institute - 527101
Materials play a vital role in society, and the state of Alabama is a leader in materials for aerospace, automotive manufacturing, and emerging naval construction, among others. The Alabama Materials Institute (AMI) enables UA faculty, staff, and students to coordinate internally and engage multiple external partners from other academic institutions, federal laboratories, and industry. AMI serves as a catalyst for interaction with these communities, while also providing critical infrastructure resources to support the UA's research, educational, and service missions. As part of the AMI leadership team, the Associate Director serves as a key contributor to this exciting endeavor, furthering AMI’s mission and involvement in these areas.
