Job Summary: The President’s Office Student Mentorship Program Manager plays a central role for the President’s Office in creating a mentoring program to prepare students for career success by offering professional development experiences. Identifies and builds relationships with industry speakers, organizes networking events that connect students with professionals, and cultivates relationships with donors and business leaders who provide mentorship, expertise, and support to the university community.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR master's degree. Successful candidates will have had leadership training/experience during their time in an undergraduate and/or master’s degree program.
Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience leading and contributing to projects within highly collaborative environments. Ability to work effectively with various faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Collaborative leadership and facilitation skills. Experience in event planning, business relations, and student development. Strong communication, relationship building, and organizational skills. Demonstrates high energy, professionalism, and poise, with strong social awareness and the ability to navigate a wide range of interpersonal situations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in collaborative team setting with leadership experience in higher education or business. Former member of Capstone Men and Women.
