The Research Administrator III plays an integral role in the Department’s ability to achieve its research mission. This position supports the grants and contracts as a Research Administrator III (RAIII) for the Department of Pediatrics. The position is responsible for directing and managing the development and administration of complex proposals to federal, state, and private funding agencies following institutional policy; Overseeing the setup of awards and post-award management of assigned divisions/portfolios; Providing support to Principal Investigators and administrative staff. The Research Administrator works independently to ensure the departmental research operations process smoothly and to help achieve departmental research objectives. The Research Administrator III plays an integral role in the Department’s ability to achieve its research mission. The incumbent will ensure that pre- and post-award activities, for all types of sponsored research activities, are processed following governing policy and adherent to deadlines.
