Job Duties

Safety

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to the SHE Cultural Framework, policies, Safety Essentials and Management System requirements and expectations;
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimise those risks;
  • Understand and effectively undertake SHE accountabilities.

Business Performance

  • Contribute to driving continuous improvement of ICT solutions
  • Execute and manage solution development and improvement processes, ensuring these are maintained and communicated effectively
  • Proactive solution management and effective demand management of changing business requirements
  • Contribute to the quality assurance across the implementation of improvements and changes to the ICT solution
  • Apply standard structured approach to deliver integration solutions and projects
  • Implement consistent ICT integration process and tools for delivery
  • Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and information within own function and with internal clients
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve the provision of integration services and processes
  • Support a climate that encourages innovation and receptivity to change
  • Ensure appropriate and timely risk management procedures are established and maintained
  • Contrubite to risk assessment at nominated intervals
  • Ensure identified deficiencies are responded in a timely fashion
  • Assist to establish control mechanisms to prevent reoccurrence
  • Ensure existing systems and processes are aligned with the CIMIC Group initiatives

Leadership

  • Coordinate the ICT integration and architecture requirements and interface with the Operating Company.
  • Provide leadership in the requirements and management of the respective integration and/or data solutions 
  • Provide governance and assistance in the implementation of integration solutions within projects across the Operating Companies 

Business Relationships

  • Maintain strong, productive relationships with internal clients and other key stakeholders
  • Understand key stakeholder needs and manage expectations to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes
  • Provide professional and timely advice to internal clients
  • Demand management of new requirements and setting realistic expectations with internal clients

Key Performance Measures

  • Meeting regulatory obligations
  • Meeting stakeholder requirements
  • Reporting and communication to key management such that effective decisions can be made
  • Deliver integration / data solutions aligned with business requirements and agreed programs
  • Maintenance of the enterprise integration architecture
  • Development of a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders

Governance

  • Ensure compliance to governance frameworks, all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processes.
  • Integration standardisation and governance through project systems mobilisation activity

 Job Requirements

  • Degree qualified in either ICT, Engineering or Science in a relevant discipline
  •  At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
  • Technology architecture qualifications (Preferred), eg TOGAF
  • A strong understanding of best practice systems, eg ISO, ITIL or other service and quality management standards
  • Strong ICT Enterprise integration background (5+ years)
  • Strong integration solution design skills, preferably in a construction and engineering environment
  • Experience working in ICT in a global company, preferably with multiple operating companies
  • Parent company – subsidiary exposure
  • Experience in relevant Azure projects such as data ingestion, storage, transformation/enrichment, point-to-point integrations, real-time and batch integrations
  • Understanding of relevant security compliance requirements
  • Good knowledge of Azure standards as they apply to integrations
  • Strong experience in developing code especially Azure Functions/App Services/REST API
  • Strong experience with Azure Portal, Resource Groups, creating Azure Resources and working with PaaS/Serverless technologies such as Azure Functions, Durable Functions & Azure App Service
  • Strong experience in Azure DevOps, Creation of Azure Repos, Build and Release Pipelines
  • Strong experience in using Azure Container Registry and deploying solution to App Service
  • Strong experience in Azure integration services like Data Factory, Integration Runtime, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, Azure Web API, Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Service Principles, Azure AD Integration Security, Azure AD Groups
  • Experience in Databricks, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, PBI Gateway, PBI Report Build
  • Ability to work as part of multidisciplinary team and effectively communicate across the business
  • Ability to think laterally when identifying solutions to operational issues
  • Experience working with on-shore teams
  • Proven experience in reporting and communication
  • Strong focus on architectural design and solutions
