Here’s your opportunity to lead our People and Culture transformation through delivery of strategic projects including business readiness for the Human Resources Information System to be rolled out across the State Service.

The Department of Health (DOH) is seeking an experienced leader to step into the critical role of Director – HR Strategy and Innovation.

Here’s your opportunity to lead our People and Culture transformation through delivery of strategic projects including business readiness for the Human Resources Information System to be rolled out across the State Service.

Leading a team of capable professionals, you will focus on continuous system improvement, using your passion for innovation to shape and integrate delivery of people and culture services across the organisation.

The Role:

You will play a key role in delivering DOH’s people related reform initiatives and driving the transformation of business operations for People and Culture.

This role is at the centre, touching across all aspects of the People and Culture service, working with teams in supporting immediate priorities, whilst keeping a keen eye on the future in developing effective people-related strategies.

You will also collaborate across the department and the state service, providing advice and recommendations to senior leaders in building and developing a sustainable and positive workforce.

It’s an important role.  There are over 16,000 employees at DoH, and the People and Culture transformation will make a difference to the experience at work for each and every one.

Appointment Details:

The Senior Executive position is offered as a 3-year contract commencing as soon as possible, with a remuneration package, including a salary range between $156,075 and $171,573 p.a. and 11.5% superannuation.

Eligibility:

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution in a relevant field
