The Role:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Allied Health, the Senior Allied Health Stroke Co-ordinator role works collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Stroke Services to coordinate stroke services for patients entering the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH). This includes the provision of services through the Emergency Department, acute patient ward, transfer to subacute/rehabilitation and discharge into the community.
This role will work in the BUILDS (Bridging the Urban and regional Divide in Stroke care) telestroke service to develop and embed the new service model at the NWRH.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing 15 September 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $123,717 to $134,336 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Allowances:
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association Current Working with Children Registration
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Post- graduate qualifications relevant to the Allied Health discipline
- Experience in project management and/or service development
- Current Driver’s Licence
