Your role within the team 
 
As the Quality Manager, China, you will be responsible for support new product development (NPD) and quality management for contract manufacturers (CMs), to ensure the end-to-end quality management in assigned NPD and CMs. You will work closely together with Regulatory, Product Development, PMO, Sourcing and our Contract Manufacturers. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Work closely with cross-functionally (MKT, PD, RA, Sourcing etc.) to ensure NPD projects to be implemented according to the project timeline to fulfill business needs, 

  • Represent of quality to support whole NPD/EPD process according to H&H requirements, including new supplier development, raw material risk assessment, pilot trial, specification and commercial production, 

  • Lead investigations and follow-ups regarding deviations and non-conformances to ensure Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) are effectively applied, 

  • Perform regular visit/inspections of Contract manufacturer facilities to monitor adherence to H&H quality standards, regulatory compliance and identify areas for improvements, 

  • Change control management. 

Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a highly regulated environment, e.g. TGA, FDA, FSANZ, PIC/S, 

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutics, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field, 

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP), 

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for supplements and food products, 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex quality issues, 

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, 

  • Detail-oriented and organised, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of product quality and food safety, 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
