Join our Design team as a BIM Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract, where you will lead and manage our BIM systems. This role is pivotal in optimising BIM processes, workflows, and protocols to deliver industry-leading design outputs. You will be responsible for training Team Members, ensuring consistency across projects, and advancing our digital transformation strategy, in preparation for the development of ‘Digital Twins’ for our assets.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and auditing existing BIM operating systems, templates, and tracking dashboards to align with industry best practices.
- Creating and optimising a cloud-based centralised family library with unified shared parameters.
- Developing and integrating a Sustainable Materials Database within project templates and schedules.
- Automating critical processes to enhance efficiency, including model amalgamation, bulk file exporting, and lease plan creation.
- Establishing and maintaining a BIM roadmap for all 42 Westfield Destinations, to ensure consistency in standards and processes and identifying new opportunities for efficiency in documentation and project workflows to enable development of future digital twins
- Training and inducting new Team Members on BIM systems, processes, and standards, while providing ongoing technical support.
This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time.
What sets you apart
We are seeking a BIM expert with an architectural background and experience in leading and optimising BIM systems. You will have strong technical expertise in building information modelling, experience in BIM execution plans, and a strategic approach to digital asset management. Prior experience in Revit and automation processes is highly desirable.
