JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees the daily operation and is the first point of contact for team members, guests and interdepartmental partners, in partnership with a Supervisor. Maintains inventory, collects, cleans, and distributes TapuTapu™ Wearables to various teams throughout Volcano Bay. Oversees the collection of TapuTapu™ Wearables as guests exit the park. Responsible for leading the team, coaching, and ensuring guest service standards are met. Maintains appropriate staffing levels and required inventory. Accountable for training related functions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists management with the consistent execution of guest service and operational standards. Performs all operational duties related to the TapuTapu™ Wearables’ and Tiki Entry daily opening and closing, reacts to the business by directing guest flow, responding to escalated guests and technical issues. Responsibilities also include, but not limited to inventory, performing audits and completing end of day process, reconciles TapuTapu™ Wearables discrepancies and providing supporting documentation.
- Manages and maintains all facets of daily operation of the location. Assigns tasks and monitors performance of team members to ensure policies and procedures of the department are followed. Ensures that all supplies and workstations are in good working condition. Makes certain that team members are wardrobe compliant and that established safety practices and quality standards are maintained. Responsible for maintaining and inspecting show quality standards as set by the Company.
- Trains and coaches team members, explains performance and behavioral expectations, provides feedback and recognition. Conducts shift meetings and distributes TapuTapu™ Wearables as well as collects them from designated teams, throughout Volcano Bay. Reports behavior requiring discipline and documentation to the management team.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required
EXPERIENCE:
1+ Year of Operations experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Responsible for overseeing the collection of all Wearables, from Guests and team members, at the end of the daily operation.
- Responsible for activating, cleaning and conducting inventory of all Taputapu™ Wearables on a nightly basis.
- Responsible for reporting any variances to management after every count.
