The Student Assistant will assist the Office of the Vice President within the division of Human Resources and Inclusive Excellence by providing web and graphic design support to the Operations team under the supervision of the Communication and Event Specialist.
Students will assist with creating, editing, updating and posting graphic for social media posts across various platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook for HRIE social media accounts as well as HRIE's division website.
Additionally, they will assist with content and interviews for story profiles.
Assist with creating graphics, promotional and communication materials for email, social, web and digital signage using Canva. Assist staff with preparing of publications such as newsletters, brochures, posters, fliers, and presentations. All drafts will be reviewed by lead/supervisor. Assist with updating HRIE's division website and become familiar with the new OU5 web update.
Helping with department events, set-up, and day-of production as needed. Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Individuals in this position need to be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively across multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.
