Are you interested in working for UDRI, a national leader in scientific and engineering research, serving government, industry and nonprofit customers? Our Applied Sensing division invites qualified candidates to apply for our Associate Administrator opening!
Provides administrative support and manages office duties, with limited supervision, for the Applied Sensing Division. Daily responsibilities include the completion and submission of internal UDRI forms, internal budget tracking, resource allocation tracking, electronic document filing, travel forms, scheduling meetings, event-planning, managing timecards, and constructing clear correspondence.
• Bachelor’s degree • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and develop solutions• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat• Organization and time-management skills• Success demonstration of clear and accurate written and verbal communication• Ability to work under minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail• Experience working with sensitive and confidential information• Experience with electronic documentation systems• Experience in working with remote individuals• Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
• Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field• 2+ years of demonstrated successful administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment• Purchasing/procurement experience• Prior administrative experience a the University of Dayton• Event planning experience• Experience with Runway and/or CostPoint• Proficiency in OneDrive• Familiarity with an electronic timecard system• Employee onboarding/recognition experience• Experience with government contracts
