About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for supporting recruitment activities across designated stakeholder groups by coordinating and delivering effective end‑to‑end recruitment processes. This role provides hands‑on assistance in sourcing, screening, stakeholder communication, compliance, and candidate care. Working under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Advisor contributes to building strong talent pipelines, promoting a positive candidate experience, and ensuring recruitment activity aligns with organisational needs and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end‑to‑end recruitment process including advertising, shortlisting, screening, interviews, reference checks, and offer preparation.
  • Assist in proactive sourcing activities such as talent pooling, market research, and outreach to passive candidates.
  • Maintain consistent and positive candidate communication, ensuring a high‑quality experience at every stage.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with recruitment documentation, approvals, and hiring processes in line with internal policies and DOA.
  • Accurately utilise and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), CRM, and recruitment reporting tools.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, recruitment timelines, and priorities.
  • Provide timely updates on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and risks or challenges.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders across business units.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and solutions‑focused approach to supporting hiring requirements.
  • Contribute to employer branding, marketing, and candidate attraction activities, including job boards, social media, recruitment events, and networking opportunities.
  • Support coordination of early careers programs (e.g. graduates, interns, apprentices) as directed by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, process updates, and recruitment-related projects aligned to Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Help coordinate pre‑employment, onboarding, and compliance documentation where required.

Essential Skills & Experience 

  •  1–3 years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR coordination, or a related field (agency or in‑house).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a positive candidate experience.
  • Sound judgement, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Basic analytical and problem‑solving capability with a willingness to learn.
  • Experience using ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, or general recruitment technologies.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes and foundational knowledge of employment legislation and privacy requirements.
