About the Role
Northern Private Hospital is seeking an organised, customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Consulting Suites team.
This role plays a key part in supporting our doctors and patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who visits our consulting suites.
You will:
- Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Manage appointment bookings and patient records
- Handle phone and email enquiries efficiently
- Prepare medical documentation and reports
- Process payments, billing, and daily banking
- Provide general administrative support to doctors and the Administration Manager
- You’ll be working in a friendly, supportive environment where teamwork and patient care come first.
About You
- Be highly committed to providing excellent customer service outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors
- Experience in a Medical Reception environment
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
- Demonstrated proficiency in Patient Management/Practice Management systems
- Excellent friendly communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
