JOB SUMMARY

The University of Connecticut is accepting applications and nominations for multiple full-time Assistant Football Coach positions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Head Football Coach in the organization and administration of all phases of a Division I FBS program including game preparation and the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes; assist in monitoring academic progress and development of student-athletes; community involvement; and other program duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Working knowledge of the correct application of NCAA regulations
  3. Strong commitment to the academic goals of the University
  4. Excellent organizational, teaching, communication and public relations skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 1-2 years’ experience working in a football program at the collegiate FBS, FCS or NFL within the past 10 years
  2. Collegiate coaching experience at the Division I level
  3. Possesses coaching and student-athlete development philosophies consistent with that of the Division of Athletics and its football program
