The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has opened within the Australian Masterpet sales team for experienced territory manger to join our team.
The Territory Managers role is to ensure all activities that support the Masterpet Australia (MPAU) sales strategy are effectively implemented within their portfolio of clients. They are required to develop strong relationships with internal & external customers driving sales and margin growth of Masterpet Australia (MPAU) brands in the Specialty Pet/Vet Channel.
The role is full time and some overnight travel within Queensland is required each month.
What you will do:
- Achieve commercial objectives across the assigned sales territory within set financial parameters.
- To drive the Masterpet Australia (MPAU) sales strategy within the assigned sales territory.
- Manage promotional activity and FMOT; provide consistent high-quality training of key focuses.
- Implement 4 phase selling and MIOPET (Masterpet sales process).
- Ensure that national sales plans are effectively implemented, and that objectives and targets are achieved.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with internal & external customers.
What we are looking for:
- Current Australian State or Territory driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in sales (retail or wholesale)
- Intermediate competency level of MS Office applications, specifically excel, teams and power point, with the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Proficient presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders
- Basic competency level of category reporting, insights, and analysis
- Intermediate competency level of sales processes and methodologies
- Strong relationship development and influencing skills
- High level of self-motivation and results focused
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
- Previous sales experience within the pet industry desired
