Join a dynamic and collaborative team in the LCRA Transmission group, committed to innovation and financial excellence. As an intern, you will contribute to the organizations' financial planning, budgeting, and reporting initiatives. This internship is designed for students who have completed their third year of a bachelor's degree and are eager to apply their financial and problem-solving skills in a professional setting. In this role, you will gain valuable experience by working alongside a team of analysts to support several departments, improve analytical processes, and deliver actionable insights. You will be trusted to:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Collaborate with corporate finance team and BI teams on process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and precision. - Produce visual reports and dashboards to communicate key financial insights using tools such as Excel and visualization reports in Oracle - Identify anomalies and trends in financial data, providing recommendations to decision-makers to optimize organizational performance. - Participate in cross-departmental meetings to support budgeting and financial planning needs. - Contribute to ad-hoc projects, such as scenario modeling and financial process innovation. - Uphold the collaborative culture of the team by actively engaging in group discussion, brainstorming sessions, and team-building activities.

You qualify with:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent. - Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in junior year or has completed junior year and will be starting senior year.
You are a great fit with:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution, having completed the third year of studies by the start of the term. - Demonstrated passion for innovations and financial analysis, with an eagerness to learn and grow. - Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, charts) - Experience with data visualization tools - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and leadership. - Availability to work in the office two days per week.
