Are you a motivated student seeking an outstanding chance to gain practical experience in network engineering? The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) is providing an internship in Austin, TX, where you can join a dynamic and result-oriented team to administer and manage our critical network infrastructure. In addition, you will be trained and mentored by experienced network engineers who will walk you through all network technologies that being used in the production environment spanning from switch, routers, firewall and IDS/IPS. Most importantly, you will be given opportunities to participate in planning and making changes to the live production network environment.

You will be trusted to:
- Assist in the implementation, and maintenance of network systems.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
- Participate in network performance monitoring and optimization.
- Contribute to the development of network documentation and standards.
- Engage in cross-functional projects to ensure flawless network operations.

You qualify with:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in junior year or has completed junior year and will be starting senior year.

- Be in the last year of pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, specializing in Computer Networking.
- Have a basic to intermediate understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Be eager to learn and take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
