Our Transmission Operational Intelligence team is hiring a Manager of Solution Implementation to join our team and help build our operational technology plans for the future. You will be trusted to:
- Provide leadership and direction to staff. Hire, train, assign work, evaluate and manage performance, determine compensation of subordinate staff in compliance with Employee Services policies and handle all aspects of staff supervision. Maintain awareness of department issues and respond to employee needs and concerns. - For all work groups and staff directly reporting to this position, develop strategic and operating plans, goals, objectives, priorities and procedures that are in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of the LCRA. -Participate in the formulation of the company business system architecture plans, assessing cost and feasibility of system requests and ensuring the plan supports strategic and near-term needs. Improve the organization’s awareness of the potential of technology to transform the business. Recommend the initiation or cancellation of business projects as appropriate. Influence the direction of the business through knowledge of how OT functions work. - Collaborate with customers, vendors, industry consultants, and senior company management to define service levels and integrate activities to ensure the successful implementation and support of project efforts. Surface and resolve conflicts between vendors/partners and business associates as needed. - Guide the delivery of OT solutions in ways that most benefits business performance. Set team direction, build sense of urgency and need for results in others and lead team to accomplish tasks requiring multiple technical fields, organizational structures and business systems.
You qualify with:
- Twelve or more years of experience in information technology, with three years of supervisory responsibility or relevant experience. A degree(s) in computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Five or more years experience with Maximo EAM - Two or more years experience with the Microsoft Power Platform - Experience developing road map plans for OT technology - Knowledge of Transmission systems and equipment - Knowledge of NERC and ERCOT regulatory requirements
