The Opportunity

The High-Performance Computing Technical Officer plays a key role in supporting the Platform Director in coordinating daily operations of Monash University Malaysia Advanced Computing Platform (MUMACP) and providing technical support to the ACP users. The High-Performance Computing Technical Officer will work closely with the Platform Director, High-Performance Computing Specialist, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical support for both academic and research initiatives. The role also contributes to enhancing platform outreach, improving user access, and delivering training and engagement activities that strengthen the HPC community and support the campus’s research capability and outputs.

Reporting line: The position reports to the MUMACP Director under routine supervision; with a dotted reporting line to the Research Excellence, Research Infrastructure and Programmes Lead.
