The Opportunity

The Senior Technical Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the Platform Director in the management and operation of multidisciplinary teaching and research laboratories within the MUM Proteomics and Metabolomics Platform at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences. This position is responsible for conducting advanced technical analyses, ensuring the maintenance and optimal functionality of laboratory equipment, and fostering a safe, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment. The Senior Technical Officer will collaborate closely with the Platform Director, Technical Officers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical support for both academic and research initiatives.

Reporting line: The position reports to the MUM Proteomics and Metabolomics Platform Director under routine supervision; with a dotted reporting line to the Research Excellence, Research Infrastructure and Programmes Lead
