The Opportunity
The School of Business at Monash University Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional to lead the External Engagement Services function. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of industry partnerships, alumni engagement initiatives, executive education programmes, entrepreneurship activities, PRME initiatives, and the School’s communications portfolio. This includes managing social media platforms, website content, regular e-newsletters, the annual report, and coordinating the School’s responses and contributions to media requests. You will manage a small team, coordinate multiple programs and projects, and ensure activities are delivered effectively and in alignment with School priorities.
Working closely with academic leaders and professional colleagues, you will support the implementation of partnership agreements, engagement initiatives and executive education offerings, while maintaining strong relationships with industry and community stakeholders. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of established portfolios, strengthen operational processes, enhance service delivery, and contribute to the School’s visibility, reputation and external impact in a dynamic higher education environment.
Reporting Line: The position reports to the Senior School Manager.
