  • Salary – AHP2, $91,785.00 to $106,330.00 + 12% Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits An additional annual allowance of $10,224.00 is payable to Psychologists where the successful candidate holds an Area of Practice Endorsement provided by the Psychology Board of Australia (paid on pro rata basis).
  • Part Time, 0.8 FTE (temporary contract until 30 June 2026), with ongoing permanent position of at least 0.4 FTE thereafter.

About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS team as a Clinical Neuropsychologist, where you will be:

  • Providing clinical neuropsychology services for children, adolescents, and families with complex neurological, medical, and mental health needs.
  • Delivering tailored neuropsychological services that include direct clinical consultation and liaison with medical and mental health teams, clinical assessment of children with complex medical conditions, and providing education, feedback and counselling to achieve better health outcomes for patients and families.
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team where your clinical knowledge and skills are utilised to guide and educate other staff members, as well as accessing their expertise to guide your clinical work.
  • Leading and participating in research projects, quality improvement activities, and policy development.
  • Supervising students and supporting staff development.

Skills and Experience

  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Endorsement/eligibility for endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Experience in paediatric or child/adolescent neuropsychology
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and report writing
  • Skills to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with a range of other agencies across SA that support children, adolescents and their families.
