At Cowell Multi-Purpose Service, part of the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, we're looking for a Services Assistant to join us on a part-time, ongoing basis and make a genuine difference to the experience of our patients, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the facility supervisor, you'll contribute to the everyday operations that keep Cowell MPS safe, clean, and welcoming. Your work directly supports patient wellbeing and infection control standards across the service.

  • Preparing, serving, and delivering meals and refreshments to patients in line with dietary requirements and care plans
  • Performing cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the facility to maintain hygiene and infection control standards
  • Assisting with laundry duties as required to support the smooth running of the service
  • Maintaining a tidy, safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors at all times

What You'll Bring

  • Some exposure to housekeeping, catering, or laundry in a similar service environment - formal qualifications are not required
  • A reliable, professional approach with a genuine commitment to delivering quality support services
  • An understanding of basic hygiene and food handling practices
  • The ability to follow SA Health policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines
  • Clear and respectful communication skills when working with patients and colleagues
  • A current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
