Mechanic

The Opportunity 

  • Carry out scheduled corrective & and preventative maintenance services
  • Work on trucks, trailers and heavy mobile equipment
  • Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
  • Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly
  • Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment

About You 

  • An unrestricted HR license as a minimum with at least 1-2yrs experience, clean driving record
  • Experience in the waste industry would be fantastic
  • Forklift licence preferred but not essential
  • A professional presentation and manner with a strong customer service ethic
  • A strong commitment to safety; and a willingness to work as part of a team
