The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Health Services business unit. This is a pivotal role in strengthening the financial performance, governance and operational effectiveness of our fleet and internal workshop operations.
Based at our Dandenong South Offices, and supported by the Commercial Finance Manager, you will lead a high performing team, take ownership of the P&L across fleet and workshop operations, and drive excellence across accounting, reporting, audit and financial governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end to end financial accounting for internal workshops and fleet teams, ensuring accurate cost allocation, compliant revenue treatment and strong financial integrity.
- Own the P&L, delivering high quality month end outcomes including accruals, journals, reconciliations and detailed variance analysis.
- Maintain TM1 data integrity through structure reviews, mapping validation and consistent general ledger treatment.
- Produce timely, accurate and audit ready balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and embed continuous process improvement.
- Oversee monthly recharge and billing activities with a strong focus on transparency, accuracy and compliance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles in TM1, validating assumptions and ensuring cost centre alignment.
- Act as the subject matter expert for workshop financial processes including labour costing, work orders, inventory valuation and capitalisation treatment.
- Partner closely with operational leaders to strengthen financial discipline, improve cost control and identify optimisation opportunities.
About You
You are calm under pressure, commercially astute and committed to continuous improvement. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a collaborative leadership style, with the ability to coach and uplift a team of finance professionals.
You will bring:
- Deep financial and technical accounting expertise, with CA or CPA qualification.
- Proven leadership capability, with experience building and developing high performing teams.
- Strong experience managing complex operational finance environments with robust controls and governance.
- Exceptional analytical capability and attention to detail, with the ability to translate insights into practical action.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, able to challenge constructively and influence outcomes.
- Hands on experience with TM1 or similar performance management systems.
- Previous leadership experience within a financial accounting or reporting function.
