Job Summary: The Associate Director Athletic Digital Marketing assists in the implementation of strategic plans into the daily operation of the athletics marketing department. Develops creative marketing, and social media plans to generate revenue, drive attendance, and increase fan engagement for the Athletic Department. Creates comprehensive digital marketing plans and materials related to advertising and coordination of all events associated with the department.


Additional Department Summary: Generates revenue through the creation and administration of digital marketing and social media plans to sell tickets for football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and gymnastics. Increases brand, event, and awareness of pertinent athletics information through marketing related channels. Develops and implements activities related to advertising and coordination of all events associated with the department.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, public relations, sports management, graphic design, or communications and two (2) years of experience within an intercollegiate athletics, professional sports organization and/or other marketing field; OR master's degree in business, marketing, management, public relations, sports management, graphic design, or communications and some experience within intercollegiate athletics, professional sports organization and/or other marketing field.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within an intercollegiate athletics department and/or professional sports organization in a marketing, tickets sales, development, public relations and/or communications role. Working knowledge and experience with marketing efforts within social media and email outlets.
