An opportunity has been created for an experienced and innovative Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition and Strategy group to implement a range of innovative strategies to attract and build a skilled workforce that meets the Department’s current and future needs.

As an expert Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work closely with your clients to develop innovative resourcing strategies to enable the selection and engagement of the most capable candidate for a wide range of roles and support the recruitment process end-to-end. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will leverage your ability to quickly build rapport and engage with diverse client groups to build strategic partnerships. You will challenge the status quo; you will not settle for unnecessary process, and you will be an advocate for opportunities within our department. This role will also offer the opportunity to be involved in a range of process optimisation initiatives and the identification and development of solutions to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-touch human resource role where you will provide proactive recruitment advice and guidance to your clients, delivering an end-to-end workforce resourcing service consistent with the NSW Government legislation. What you will bring to the role

Central to your success is your ability to identify and attract talent in a proactive and responsive way, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and a high-volume workload of recruitment and resourcing campaigns.

You will have a demonstrated ability to take initiative and think laterally, have exceptional attention to detail and be able to easily embrace and enhance new systems and processes. Your ability to create an immediate impact with your client groups and your reputation as a confident recruitment professional will be pivotal to your success.

 

What is an essential requirement:

Sound experience in recruitment best practice including recruitment approaches, marketing and social media initiatives and policies, processes, and legislative requirements.
