OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this internship is to develop an understanding of how the intercollegiate athletic programs operate. This position gives the student a chance to learn team operations from the ground up, learning all facets and gaining insight of how to successfully operate a program. Students will work daily with coaches, athletes and administrative staff and will develop working relations and learn how to interact on a professional basis within the parameters of the department. This is an ideal position for the student, of any major, who have a desire to work in intercollegiate athletics upon graduation. Students will be able to apply knowledge learned in the classroom, to everyday aspects of the position. This position will also give the student an opportunity to work with Department administrators as needed. |

The Student Videographer is responsible for providing media production support across a variety of platforms under the direction of the AMC staff Videographer. Productions include the opportunity to participate in student media and campus events (e.g. Colonial Theater), but also faculty research, narrative and documentary production. These positions will help prepare students for creative and technical careers in digital cinema and television, live event production (for sports and entertainment), and educational media.

This position may qualify for SET Transcript credits if it meets the applicable requirements. |
