About the role
The Associate Director, Change Programs leads the university-wide organisational change management function, playing an integral role in delivering strategic goals through change programs and projects. In partnership with Deakin Transformation, this role is responsible for managing complex change management for initiatives related to infrastructure, digital, and people projects, ensuring alignment with Deakin’s objectives and collaborating with, senior leadership to drive successful outcomes.
As the Associate Director, Change Programs, you will:
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of professionals to deliver large-scale change management services, fostering a high-performance work environment.
- Partner with leaders at all levels to implement well-considered transformation and change initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness.
- Lead people-centred change management for complex infrastructure, digital and organisational programs and initiatives across the University, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Managing complex stakeholder relationships and addressing resistance to change with empathy and professionalism, ensuring smooth transitions.
To be successful, you’ll bring
- Extensive experience conceptualising, developing and implementing contemporary organisational change solutions, strategies and services to achieve Deakin’s objectives.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of contemporary relevant discipline practices.
- Demonstrated capacity to build and maintain strong and productive relationships with internal and external partners and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative work teams and proven capability to achieve quality customer service to stakeholders and quality improvement to a wide range of practices and services.
