Support the development and continuous improvement of the Australian Army Land Combat College. Applying adult education principles, the successful candidate will lead a team responsible for developing and modernising learning content the Australian Army’s Foundational Capability and Land Combat Capability.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design engaging accessible and inclusive learning materials and activities in collaboration with teaching teams
- Draw on a diverse range of people, groups and resources to identify new or improved opportunities, processes and ways of doing things to enhance organisational strategy
- Distil the core issues from complex information, draws accurate conclusions and condense complex information and next steps into simple concise terms that others can understand
- Use knowledge of innovation principles to analyse current processes and practices
- Establish and demonstrate a high level of learning, energy and commitment and maintain personal integrity and make decisions consistent with University values
- Consult a diverse range of stakeholders and experts, not immediately involved, to gain a broader and deeper understanding of a specific issue
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience.
- High level writing and communication skills for delivery to a broad audience.
- Management experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields.
- Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated skills in communication and engagement with diverse university stakeholders including, but not limited to, academic and professional staff, students and employers
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Infrequent travel may be required
- Applicants will be required to attain a baseline security clearance as a part of the role
- National Police Check
- Working with Children’s Check
