As a Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate and provide advice for the development and execution of contract and compliance programs ensuring administration tasks including contract drafting approvals, evaluations, extension and / or renewals are carried out within the designated timeframes.
  • Maintain a high-level overview of essential life safety measures and fire services and support the delivery of the ESM maintenance strategy to ensure compliance with related statutory obligations.
  • Understand and execute requirements and processes associated with AEMSR reporting and signoff.
  • Ensure all contracted maintenance is scheduled, completed satisfactorily and reported as necessary, and regularly update and maintain the asset database.
  • Take actions to reduce reactive breakdowns through further investment in preventative contracts.
  • Contribute to the development of the current ESM strategy to ensure it remains relevant and aligns with current and future University development and planning.

                                                                                                                                      

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Significant and relevant people interaction and customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management.
  • Working knowledge of AS 1851 and Essential Safety Measures.
  • Working knowledge of facilities and ancillary services contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of Tenderlink process.
  • Demonstrated understanding of property management and applicable legislation to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Proven ability to organize and plan effectively, meet strict and conflicting demands and deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven expertise in managing processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Familiarisation with Sharepoint and auditing tools such as IAuditor is advantageous.
