About the Role
In this role, you will provide education, mentorship, and clinical expertise to nursing staff within our Emergency Centre, supporting excellence in patient care under the guidance of the Critical Care Clinical Nurse Educator.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver targeted education plans and facilitate department-based training.
• Conduct clinical competency assessments to support staff development.
• Provide hands-on clinical support and foster a positive learning culture.
About You
• To be successful you will be an experienced Registered Nurse, be an organised and efficient professional with advanced skills in nursing assessment and highly developed clinical problem-solving skills.
• You will be a positive role model with a natural ability to mentor and support staff with an innovative approach to education delivery.
• You have a passion for patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay’s core values.
Essential Criteria
• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital emergency department.
Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience in an education role (advantageous).
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
• Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care/Emergency Nursing or Education (or working towards).
Renumeration
