The Opportunity
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work as part of the Waratah Ward nursing team. Waratah Ward provides inpatient care for a diverse range of surgical patients, delivering patient-focussed, high quality postoperative care. The ward also provides specialised nursing care for medical, rehabilitation and palliative care patients.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nursing Unit Manager, Team Leader and After-Hours Managers to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years postgraduate experience
- Enrolled Nurses must be medication endorsed and IV Qualified
- Previous experience in an acute hospital setting would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others
- Ability to work a flexible 7-day rotating roster
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $34.97 - $38.06 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1-thereafter)
