North Idaho College is looking for a skilled and level-headed Campus Security Supervisor to lead our safety efforts and keep our beautiful lakeside campus safe and welcoming. If you thrive in high-pressure situations, have excellent conflict management skills, and can communicate effectively, this leadership role is for you.
As the Campus Security Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily security operations, emergency response efforts, and policy enforcement across NIC campuses. Your ability to maintain confidentiality, interpret Idaho laws and NIC policies, and train staff on safety protocols will be critical to success.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in law enforcement or other related area and minimum four years full-time experience in law enforcement, military or security; or an equivalent combination of related education, experience, and training is required. A minimum of two years full-time experience supervising others is required. Must be able to successfully pass a background and fingerprint check and have no felony convictions.
Required License and/or Certifications:
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Taser Certification (Instructor preferred) or ability to obtain Taser Instructor certification within three months of employment. Training and certification in first aid, CPR, fire and emergency response procedures, or the ability to attain certification within six months of hire.
Starting pay range: $25.79 - $29.66

Work Schedule: Must be available to work any shift
