In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain North Idaho College's lawns, trees, gardens, irrigation systems, and outdoor spaces, creating a safe, welcoming, and attractive campus for students, employees, and visitors year-round.
You'll perform a wide variety of landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, edging, planting, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and seasonal cleanup. You'll also install, troubleshoot, repair, and program irrigation systems to ensure healthy landscapes and efficient water use. In addition to operating a variety of equipment, you'll assist with campus improvement projects, outdoor repairs, event setup, and winter snow and ice removal. This role offers the opportunity to apply technical skills while seeing the results of your work every day.
We're looking for someone with strong knowledge of landscape maintenance and irrigation installation, repair, and scheduling who takes pride in quality workmanship and maintaining a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, is comfortable using computers, and can read, write, and speak English. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. A minimum of two years of full-time related experience, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience.
Required License and/or Certifications
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Starting pay range: $18.15 - $20.87

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: typically Mon-Fri 6am-2pm
