Help students discover the information and resources they need to succeed. As a Part-Time Reference Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting learning, research, and academic success by connecting students, faculty, staff, and community members with library services in a welcoming and engaging environment.
In this role, you'll assist patrons with research questions by helping them navigate the library's collections, discovery tools, online databases, and other authoritative resources. You'll support library instruction by assisting with orientations, information literacy sessions, and classroom preparation, and may lead instructional sessions as needed. You'll also contribute to the creation of research guides, promote library resources, answer questions at the Information Desk, assist with library opening and closing procedures, and provide support with printing, scanning, and other library services. Working collaboratively with library colleagues, you'll help ensure every visitor has a positive and productive library experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Starting pay range: $20.01 $23.01
Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: up to 19.5 hrs per week, including Mon-Thurs 5:00-8:00pm & Sun 12:00-6:00pm
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check and proof of degree if required for this position.
