The key result areas of Research, Teaching, and Engagement form the basis of the role's primary duties and responsibilities. A workload will be agreed upon annually with the Head of School during the Performance Development Plan process. Other duties may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of School.

Lecturer (Practice) /Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Emergency Medicine Johor Bahru campus - Malaysia Level C
A Level B / C academic is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of a discipline, school, faculty or other organisational unit or an interdisciplinary area. An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Emergency Medicine provides leadership in clinical teaching and supervision, delivering high-quality undergraduate medicine education. The role involves coordinating and contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and quality improvement initiatives, and promoting excellence in evidence-based emergency care. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Practice) also maintains an active clinical role, supports clinical governance and patient safety activities, and contributes to scholarly and professional activities aligned with the discipline of Emergency Medicine.
Associate Professor - Pharmacy Practice Main campus - Malaysia Level D
A Level D academic is expected to make a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area and play a significant role within their profession or discipline. Academics at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction in their disciplinary area. The key result areas of Research, Teaching and Engagement are the basis for the primary duties and responsibilities of the role.
