A Level C academic is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of a discipline, school, faculty or other organisational unit or an interdisciplinary area. An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research, and/or professional activities. The incumbent will provide academic leadership and contribute significantly to the enhancement of teaching, learning, and research in the field of Medical and Health Professions Education. Key responsibilities include leading the development and review of programs in Medical Education and overseeing the delivery of existing courses within the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences. The incumbent is expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, mentor early career researcher, and engage in high-quality scholarly activities that advance knowledge and best practices in Medical and Health Professions Education. In addition, the incumbent will play a strategic role in driving research excellence by actively pursuing, leading, and strengthening research collaborations with government agencies, healthcare institutions, and industry partners. This includes contributing to translational research and promoting the adoption of evidence-based medical and health professions education practices across the School.
