The Communications Manager, Community Engagement is responsible for ensuring the University obtains maximum benefit from the opportunities presented by digital for the campus community and current student audience. In addition to managing the operational development of the University website, the manager initiates and, as appropriate, manages and delivers the development of new communications initiatives. They typically manage a team of communication and social media specialists and are responsible for the overall quality and consistency of the content produced by the team.
Associate Head of School (Engagement) & Associate Professor/ Professor (Computer Science/Software Engineering/AI) Main campus - Malaysia Level E
The Associate Head of School (Engagement) (AHoSN) is responsible to the School of Information Technology and to the Malaysia Campus for the provision of leadership and management within the School in the area of student engagement, positive & progressive academic staff culture, as well as external engagement and impact.  The AHoSN will champion the engagement initiatives with current, past (alumni) and future students, in line with the School’s strategic plans to have long-term synergistic relationships with its student population. This also includes leading all industry, government and community relationships and initiatives. Working within Monash’s strategy framework to support key engagement objectives to build partnerships with individuals, government and other organisations, this position is to enrich our ability to innovate and apply our educational initiatives and/or research to make significant impact to our community, and to ensure outstanding enterprising capabilities and opportunities for students.  This position is a member of the School senior leadership team and is a contributor, in the area of specialisation, to the overall management of the School. This position will also chair the School’s Industry Advisory Panel. The incumbent will be appointed to level D (Associate Professor) or E (Professor) depending on his/her experience and qualifications.  Academics at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction in their disciplinary area.
Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor (Computer Science/Software Engineering/AI) Main campus - Malaysia Level D
A Level D academic is expected to make a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area and play a significant role within their profession or discipline. Academics at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction in their disciplinary area.
Research Engineer Main campus - Malaysia HEW 6
This position complements the multidisciplinary team of impact-focused researchers in Action Lab: Malaysia to achieve the objectives of the Digital-in-health initiative funded by the VP R&D office. This position focuses on building and testing applications (mobile and web-based), and also engagement with different internal and external stakeholders for requirements gathering and software development.
Senior Procurement Executive Main campus - Malaysia HEW 6
The Senior Procurement Executive plays a pivotal role in overseeing the governance of the Procurement Policy, processes, and strategic initiatives to meet the overall university strategies and direction. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance regulations and the strategic procurement lifecycle, encompassing the management of tender exercises, contract management, supplier relationships, and stakeholder engagement.

An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities. The key result areas of Research, Teaching and Engagement are the basis for the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. A workload will be agreed upon annually with the Head of School during the Performance Development Plan process. Other duties may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of School.
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer - Civil Engineering (Construction Management) Main campus - Malaysia Level C
A Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) academic in Civil Engineering (specialising in Construction Management) is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of a discipline, school, faculty or other organisational unit or an interdisciplinary area. An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities. The key result areas of Research, Teaching and Service are the basis for the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. A workload will be agreed annually with the Head of Department and Head of School in the Performance Development Plan process. Other duties may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of Department and Head of School. Candidate should hold a doctoral qualification (PhD) or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering (specialising in Construction Management / Project Management / Construction Informatics) - Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) / Digital Twins Technologies / AI in Construction / related area. - Candidate should be eligible to register with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer in the Civil Engineering discipline
