The Opportunity
As the Operations Supervisor, your focus is to deliver exceptional service to our customers and ensure all operational tasks are completed in a safe environment. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead a frontline team and ensure their performance and success. Additionally, you will also be responsible for:
- Coordinating and scheduling day to day-to-day operations of drivers runs and weekly work schedule
- Consulting with line management in the development and management of operational targets
- Ensuring all pre-start, post-run, and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
- Maximising customer service and operational efficiencies
- Supporting and implementing operational improvements
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive leader to join a team who values commitment, teamwork and is able to contribute to the accomplishment of Cleanaway goals and KPI’s.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated supervisory experience within the transport, logistics or waste management environment
- Intermediate Excel and Word experience
- Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
- Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and ability to work independently
- Be approachable with good people skills
