Embark on a rewarding career with Cleanaway Kwinana Beach, WA, as a 1st Year Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprentice. In this permanent, full-time role, you’ll learn to maintain and service heavy vehicles in line with transport legislation and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist in maintaining road vehicles and plant machines to meet legislative standards.
• Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance services.
• Address driver daily vehicle reports (DVR) under supervision and file as required.
• Assist in fault diagnostics for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Support test drives or equipment operations to ensure correct repairs.
• Contribute to ensuring all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly.

Skills and Experience:

• Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship – no prior experience required.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to the maintenance of heavy and light vehicles.
• Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety.
