Who we’re looking for:

Getting our people home safely every day is our top priority. As Safety Coordinator you’ll play a critical role in influencing project leaders and driving Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) excellence across this newly awarded TfNSW road upgrade project.

This is a site-based role, working as part of the main project team to ensure compliance, foster a strong safety culture, and deliver continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and implementation of HSEQ standards aligned with compliance and due diligence requirements.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Motivate and educate team members to champion best practice use of our systems.
  • Develop work method statements, project plans, and inspection/test plans.
  • Drive system improvements to demonstrate ongoing commitment to safety and quality.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
  • Previous experience on civil/TfNSW projects.
  • A self-starter with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of current legislation, standards, and industry requirements.
  • Qualifications in Training and Assessment. (Desirable)
