Driven by a purpose of powering futures and creating enduring legacies, we deliver complex infrastructure solutions that connect and transform communities. For over 45 years, our diverse portfolio of projects and roles provides exceptional opportunities for our people to grow and make a lasting impact. As part of our team, you’ll help deliver challenging projects, supported by leadership within an inclusive people-first culture.

About the role

Reporting to the Change Manager, the position of Change Coordinator will see you supporting the successful delivery of ERP and digital transformation initiatives across BMD Group by focusing on the people, process and adoption impacts of change.

Working closely with the organisational change lead, project managers and business stakeholders, this role provides hands-on support across change planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, training development and readiness activities.

The role contributes to ensuring new systems and processes are adopted effectively, with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of change management activities across ERP and digital initiatives, aligned to BMD delivery frameworks and project plans.
  • Conduct and support change impact assessments, readiness assessments and stakeholder analysis to identify people, process and capability impacts.
  • Monitor resistance and adoption risks across business units and escalate insights to the Organisational Change Lead.
  • Analyse survey results, feedback and adoption data to inform change approaches, recommendations and continuous improvement.
  • Support stakeholder mapping and engagement planning across corporate, operational and project teams.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of clear, practical change communications, including updates, presentations, FAQs and briefing materials.
  • Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) activities, including surveys, interviews and analysis.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of training artefacts, including user guides, quick reference materials, learning aids and supporting communications.
  • Coordinate training logistics and support training delivery (classroom, virtual and on-the-job learning).
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of process maps, role impacts and supporting documentation to enable successful transition.
  • Ensure change and training artefacts remain current and aligned with approved scope, design decisions and system releases.
  • Maintain accurate records of change activities, decisions and artefacts in line with project and governance requirements.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Change, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 1–2 years’ experience in a change, project, transformation or similar support role
  • Change management certification or formal training (desirable)
  • Strong IT capability, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence working with digital collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience or exposure to process mapping and documentation (e.g. Visio, Lucid, Miro, PrimeBPM or similar).
  • Exposure to ERP, digital transformation or system implementation programs.
  • Familiarity with change management concepts or frameworks (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR).
  • Experience developing or supporting training materials, communications or engagement artefacts and working in project-based or matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical organisational and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data, survey results and stakeholder feedback with a desire to understand how change impacts people, processes and operations.
  • Practical, delivery-focused and outcomes-driven, with a willingness to learn and grow in the change discipline.
